My husband and I knew that when planning our wedding shower, we would be ordering a cake from Rose. She makes the most delicious Pineapple/Coconut cake! Real chunks of pineapple in between layers of drenched coconut rum cake! We had originally ordered a simple sheet cake with a couple flowers on top, but she added this gorgeous (HUGE) sugar/fondant bouquet of gerber daisies instead! it was absolutely impressive! I contracted Ms. Cornier to design and bake my wedding cake for 150 guests on March 27, 2010. Ms. Cornier exuded her artistic design and creativity by creating my wedding cake just based on a simple 2-D drawing. From start to finish, Rosa’s professionalism was duly noted. Our initial meeting was more like a consultation where we discussed the flavors of the cake and possible fillings like dulce de leche. Since each layer was going to have a different taste, she prepared several types of mini-cakes and fillings varying in tastes, so we could choose just the right combiniation. The cake surpassed our expectations. Not only did it have a very exquisite look, but the taste was unbelievably moist and decadent. 	My wedding cake was delicious and hand crafted by Elegant Cakes DeRose. I had a tiered coconut rum cake with pineapple filling, butter cream icing with fondant for about 200 people. My guests loved it for being tasty and different. It's my favorite cake now. I would recommend Elegant Cakes DeRose anytime! I personally wouldn't go to anyone else if I needed a custom cake.
